FBA Retail Arbitrage is the practice of buying at lower locally and online, then reselling for a higher profit on Amazon. After hearing about this opportunity on Side Job, they quickly turned that initial $100 in inventory into almost double that amount in profits in just a few months on the website.
Before we get to the details, let me state that I am not affiliated to Amazon or any other company who may promote FBA Retail Arbitrage. Amazon is an incredible service, as well as great for individuals looking to start their own small business, but does not necessarily fall under the umbrella of an “entrepreneur” type of business.
A lot of folks have questions, but basically, FBA Retail Arbitrage works as follows. A consumer buys at a local outlet at a much lower price than is listed online. The retailer then lists this item on eBay, at a higher price than the retail outlet is selling it for.
Then, when the consumer buys this item from the local retailer, he gets a credit for the difference between the two retail prices. At the end of the month, the consumer gets his money back from Amazon. So basically, he has now paid a retailer twice, for the same product.
The next question that you might ask is, what types of items can be sold through this FBA Retail Arbitrage? This is a very broad answer, and one that will differ depending upon what type of product you are considering selling. Some examples would include clothing, shoes, jewelry, furniture, electronics, computers, digital products, electronic books, video games, or any type of merchandise that is commonly sold in a store.
The key to this strategy is to find an item in a local retailer that you like, and then list it on your website, with FBA Retail Arbitrage. Then offer the product at a higher price online.
The reason for this is, with some of the different strategies, your profits may fluctuate over time. This is not true with FBA Retail Arbitrage, because there is no risk, as there is with most of the other strategies.
What’s nice about this type of marketing is that the money that you make will keep coming in without any sort of monthly bills. This is a perfect niche for any new entrepreneurs that are looking to establish a small online business.
If you are interested in selling on eBay and want to know more about how this strategy works, you can check out one of my articles, which are all about the FBA Retail Arbitrage strategy. You can also get more information by searching for them online.
You can even turn this small part time income into a full time job if you so choose. It is a great way to get your feet wet in the online selling industry.
There are actually two different companies that offer these types of marketing services. One is called Fulfillment by Amazon and the other is called Sellers Club. If you decide to use either, you need to make sure you do some research on the company to make sure they will help you with your business venture.
Both of these companies have different terms and policies with their affiliates, so you should check out their websites before signing up with them. You also need to make sure they offer support for your e-mail list.
You also need to make sure you are signing up with affiliate programs that pay commissions on the merchandise that they sell. This is how the affiliate program works.
